Edgefield County Sheriff Jody Rowland Endorses Sheri Biggs for Congress

ANDERSON, SC – Citing her unique education and career experiences as well as her commitment to the rule of law, Edgefield County Sheriff Jody Rowland endorsed Republican Sheri Biggs today for South Carolina's Third Congressional District. The endorsement is the most significant by a law enforcement official in the district to date and highlights the growing momentum for Biggs heading in the campaign’s homestretch.

“I have done my homework, and I have looked at the candidates,” said Sheriff Rowland. “Sheri Biggs is the leader we need in Congress. Her career experience, her education, her military background, and her unwavering support for law enforcement make her the best candidate in this race. I am proud to endorse Sheri Biggs and look forward to her servant leadership in Washington.”

A volunteer of many years in serving the mental health needs of first responders in the community, Biggs highlighted Sheriff Rowland’s service and her commitment to law-and-order in accepting the endorsement.

The endorsement announcement follows the campaign’s record-breaking fundraising haul and the launch of its second television advertisement.
